The Marathon will start at PROSPECTON ROAD and will finish at the Moses Mabhida Stadium PEOPLE’S TUNNEL.

- Enter early and get your T-shirt at registration. Late entries will not receive T-shirt at registration.
Shuttle bus will be available at a cost of R80.00pp to transport athletes to the starting area.
Pick up point is at Kings Park Swimming Pool from 3:30am – 4:30am
We get a number of enquiries about who can enter our races and what is the difference between a licenced & unlicenced athlete.
ANYONE 20 years & older are eligible to enter our 42KM Run event. Whether you are a speed freak or someone who wants to challenge yourself or your friends in the 42KM run, you are ALL welcome
A licensed athlete is an athlete that is registered to a KZN Athletics affiliated club and has a 2023 permanent licence number. A licensed athlete does not need to pay the TEMPORARY licence fees.
An unlicenced athlete is an individual who is NOT affiliated to a club and would like to occasionally participate at road running & walking events.
ONLY LICENSED ATHLETES ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE MARATHON
