The Marathon will start at M4 outside Durban Country Club and will finish at the Moses Mabhida Stadium PEOPLE’S TUNNEL.

Athletes may park their vehicles at Suncoast and proceed on foot to the to the starting point.
Shuttle bus will be available at a cost of R120.00pp to transport athletes to the starting area.
Phase 1 (Early Bird): 12 September 2026 – 31 December 2026.
Phase 2: 1 January 2027 – 17 March 2027.
Phase 3: 18 March 2027 – Close of online entries: 18 April 2027.

We get a number of inquiries about who can enter our races and what is the difference between a licenced & unlicenced athlete.
ANYONE 14 years & older are eligible to enter our 10KM Run event. Whether you are a speed freak or someone who wants to challenge yourself or your friends in the 10KM run, you are ALL welcome
A licenced athlete is an athlete that is registered to a KZN athletics affiliated club and has a 2026 permanent licence number. A licenced athlete does not need to pay the TEMPORARY licence fees.
An unlicensed athlete is an individual who is NOT affiliated to a club and would like to occasionally participate at road running & walking events.
